Akmena is a core polyester thread with a cotton sheath, subjected to special technological operations to give it maximum smoothness.

Akmena is primarily used in the production of luxury clothing and machine embroidery. It is also recommended for very challenging stitches and for use in eyelet machines.

– Practical absence of breakage due to the lack of cotton tufts on the thread surface.
– Excellent sewing efficiency, especially in conditions of intense needle heating in high-speed sewing machines.
