Thoramid SS – a thread with a steel core braided with para-aramid like Kevlar®. The steel core, unaffected by external forces, withstands temperatures around 1100°C, and when subjected to stress, temperatures around 600°C. Thanks to the combination of the steel core and the para-aramid fiber braid, Thoramid SS provides excellent strength, dissipates electrical energy, and is corrosion resistant.

In our offer, we have Thoramid SS threads with a thickness of 220 tex.

Thoramid SS threads are suitable for sewing specialized clothing for the military and police, firefighters, steelworkers, and technical articles such as fire blankets, fire barriers, gloves, seals, insulation, mats, and tarpaulins.

The product is flame retardant.
