Aquarena Threads
water-soluble threads
Aquarena is a thread made from cut polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers. These are water-soluble threads used instead of standard threads for temporary stitches and basting. They can be used to temporarily attach zippers, bindings, position pockets and applications, and then removed with water or a steam iron without any residue or stains.
Standard threads used for temporary stitches are often pulled out, which can be time-consuming and may cause fabric damage. Meanwhile, Aquarena threads are removed with water, reducing labor time and preventing fabric tears.
A wide range of spool sizes and thread thicknesses will meet the needs of every industry.
