Cyklon UV Threads
threads (PTFE)
Cyklon UV is a highly resistant and durable thread, known for its increased resistance to chemicals, heat, and UV radiation. Teflon is chemically inert to chemical attacks and UV exposure. It withstands continuous temperatures from -195°C to 265°C. It does not propagate flames.
Cyklon UV threads are primarily used for sewing clothing and footwear for firefighters. However, these threads are also excellent for the production of awnings, boat covers, sails, outdoor furniture, and other outdoor segment items that may be exposed to sunlight, rain, saltwater, or other harmful substances in the environment. Due to their exceptional resistance, they are also used in the production of industrial filters.
